Deep in the Appalachian wilderness in 1972, a bus carrying Catholic school girl missionaries and their nun chaperone, Sister Lucy, becomes lost and stranded in the foreboding woods of West Virginia. As dusk approaches, the travelers are cut off from civilization, isolated in a hostile terrain with the nearby forest harboring dark secrets: a clan of cannibalistic mountain men hellbent on destruction.

They must now hunt outsiders to fuel their gristly appetite for human flesh and dwindling prospects to revive their bloodline.
