Warner Bros. Discovery are excited to present the next instalments in the sellout Film Vault Range in collaboration with Vice Press: horror classic Poltergeist and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining.
The collection has evolved for Wave 3 and now includes a Steelbook housed in streamlined cigar box packaging – both with brand new Vice Press artwork – as well an acetate sleeve and the same high quality paper premiums fans have come to expect. This now means you’re getting 4 pieces of awesome Vice Press artwork, all with the distinctive Film Vault style.
Vice Press will also be releasing an exclusive version of each edition, with the Special Edition including a 24×36 inch poster, and the Steelbook a Vice Press Editions poster, both featuring the cover art by Matt Ferguson and Florey. Each version will also be available with a copy of the original theatrical poster in one-sheet format! These editions will be available exclusively from Vice-Press.com
“I’ve really enjoyed creating art previously for The Vault collection. However things stepped up a gear with The Shining and Poltergeist. Not only are they both classic movies, we were also tasked with taking in the full design this time, including interior & exterior art. Which gave us the scope to have more storytelling in the overall package, and create more unique poster art.
Also I personally got to restore and remake the classic one sheets for both movies from the ground up. The Shining poster by Saul Bass has to rank as one of the greatest pieces of movie art ever.
