BloodStream will premiere Umbral, a Chilean sci-fi horror vertical series directed and written by Gerson Vega, on August 1, streaming on BloodStream.
The 9-episode science fiction vertical series Umbral is directed by Chilean filmmaker Gerson Vega stars Shirley HeadRoom and Fabiana Espinoza. The story is a surreal nightmare about a man trapped in a dream world controlled by a mysterious entity, the lines between reality and dreams completely blurred.
Produced by David Wing of Echo Cell Collective, the vertical series is designed specifically for mobile viewing. The series is part of BloodStream’s expanding roster of vertical horror content.
All 9 episodes of Umbral stream exclusively on BloodStreamtv.com beginning August 1. The series is presented in Spanish.
“Gerson Vega has crafted a sci-fi nightmare that uses the vertical format to pull viewers into a reality that rewrites itself, and we’re excited to bring this Chilean series to genre audiences on August 1,” says BloodStream programmer Heidi Honeycutt.
