INCARNATION READ is a horror fiction podcast. Released once every other week, it tells stories of inhuman impulses, of gaps between reality and nightmare, of things that are seen that can’t possibly be real––stories for a listener to hear, and to experience. To listen to each story is to live the tale oneself, emulated through the sounds of the narrative as they distort it, interrupt it, sometimes batter and attack it. The line between narrator and listener is blurred, and beneath it all is a secret lying dormant, something dark and sentient waiting just under the surface of everyday life. . .

My name is C. S. W., and I am a writer of horror. I am creator, writer, director, voice actor, and sound designer of the horror podcast INCARNATION READ, as well as other audio-based horror experiences currently in production.

I take a multimedia approach to the art of unsettling. I combine influences from literature, spoken word, theatre, music, and cinema to create frightening audio and reading experiences. It is my sincere hope that in creating these, I can provoke people to think, to feel, to turn the monsters inside their closets into truths they can explore. If you would like to have such an experience, then take a listen – if you’re brave enough.
