RLJE Films, a business unit of AMC Networks, has picked up select rights to the horror film, BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL from Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural. RLJE Films will release BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL on VOD, Digital HD, DVD and Blu-ray on September 21, 2021.
Written and Directed by Chris Baugh (Bad Day for the Cut), BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL stars Jack Rowan (“Peaky Blinders,” Benjamin), Nigel O’Neill (“Game of Thrones,” Bad Day for the Cut), Louisa Harland (“Hawkeye,” The Deceived, “Derry Girls”), Michael Hough (“Chapelwaite”), Fra Fee (Les Misérables, Animals), and John Lynch (“The Terror,” The Banishing). RLJE Films will release BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL on DVD for an SRP of $27.97 and on Blu-ray for an SRP of $28.96.
In BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL, strange events unfold in Six Mile Hill when construction on a new road disrupts the ancient burial ground of Abhartach, a legendary Irish vampire said to have inspired Bram Stoker’s famed “Dracula.” Deadly and sinister forces terrorize the construction crew, and they’re forced to fight to survive the night, while exposing the true horror that resides in the town’s local myth.
