ICE NINE KILLS return TERRIFIER star Catherine Corcoran to franchise in official song and video collaboration with Emmy- Award winning FX artist, Shavo Odadjian, Jose Mangin and other TERRIFIER alumni.
Horror-loving meta-core crew Ice Nine Kills have joined forces with Terrifier 3 for the film’s official song and music video! The band’s tribute is titled “A Work of Art,” and features a music video starring TERRIFIER’s own Catherine Corcoran, System of a Down/Seven Hours After Violet bassist Shavo Odadjian, Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin among other TERRIFIER franchise alumni. The video is set to debut this week during the world premiere of director Damien Leone’s Terrifier 3 features special FX by Emmy Award-winning effects artist Christopher Nelson (American Horror Story, Suicide Squad, Halloween Ends).
The seven minute long collaboration was officially announced over the weekend at Ice Nine leader Spencer Charnas’ third annual Silver Scream Con in Worcester, MA. The song will pop up in the third Terrifier film, which premieres today (September 19th) at Austin, Texas’ Fantastic Fest, will follow in Los Angeles at Beyond Fest on September 30th, while playing in select AMC Theaters nationwide for early preview showings on Thursday, October 10th alongside participating sites playing the double feature of both the original Terrifier and Terrifier 3.
The official music video for “A Work Of Art” was directed by longtime INK collaborator Jensen Noen and stars Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier, Return to Nuke Em High), Sirius XM’s Jose Mangin, and System of a Down’s Shavo Odadjian while featuring David Howard Thorton who reprises his role as the killer clown, Leah Voysey (Terrifier 2) Vincent Rockwell, Richard Christy (drummer for Death, Control Denied)
Charnas said: “The Terrifier franchise gave us Art the Clown, the greatest new horror icon in decades,” Charnas explained during part of a Silver Scream Con panel, which you can see below. “We are beyond honored by the invitation to play within the viciously delightful universe Damien Leone and his incredible team have created. The Art and INK fanbases are one and the same, and we heard the screams for this collaboration loud and clear.”
