In the new Travel Channel series, “Famously Afraid,” some of the biggest stars tell their terrifying, true tales of coming face-to-face with unexplained phenomena. A variety of superstars, from championship athletes to Emmy Award-winning actors, offer a front-row seat to the most horrifying and emotionally draining experiences of their lives. SERIES PREMIERE: “Howie Mandel and Chloe Lukasiak” – Premieres Tuesday, November 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
“America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel tells the story of how a spirit in his home targeted his young daughter. Then, “Queer as Folk” actor Hal Sparks recalls how he was able to connect a childhood encounter with aliens to one of his first jobs in the entertainment industry. Lastly, former “Dance Moms” stars Christi and Chloe Lukasiak detail how a tour through the famous LaLauire Mansion in New Orleans left them both scared beyond belief.

“Tori Spelling and Steve Guttenberg” – Premieres Tuesday, November 12 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
“Police Academy” star Steve Guttenberg is tormented by the ghost of an eccentric royal, radio host Ed Lover makes a shocking discovery in an abandoned house and actress Tori Spelling has a lifesaving encounter from the great beyond.

LOST SECRETS
From family relics to private collections and museum displays, people often unknowingly possess unusual objects that hold hidden pasts and secret histories. In Travel Channel’s new series, “Lost Secrets,” historian Justin Jampol journeys around the world to unlock the mysteries of the past held within these recently discovered items, revealing covert histories that have unexpectedly, and unknowingly, changed the world we live in. Using state-of-the-art scientific testing coupled with an insatiable curiosity, Jampol’s globe-trotting investigations reveal how these mysterious objects can hold the real truths behind pivotal moments in our history that we thought we already knew. SERIES PREMIERE: “Nazi Dark Magic” – Premieres Sunday, November 10 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
Justin Jampol gains access to a trove of recently uncovered documents from the archive of infamous Nazi, Heinrich Himmler. Himmler’s private wartime archive contains many types of military files, but one thing stands out to Justin as unbelievable: astrological wheels for Churchill, Stalin and even Hitler himself. Jampol sets out to investigate the Nazi leadership’s deep fanatical belief in the supernatural and how there may have been a plot to harness these mythical forces to win WWII.

“American Viking Queen” – Premieres Sunday, November 17 at 11 p.m. ET/PT
Women in the Viking Age were involved in exploration and commerce throughout the world, and women’s roles in the commerce of textiles was key to Viking survival. If not for a mini Ice Age, the Vikings’ continued presence in North America would have changed the course of history. In this episode, Jampol is presented with a spindle whorl that unlocks a story of America that’s never been told: evidence that a Viking woman may have been the first European to set foot here – 500 years before Columbus.

Season Four of the cult-classic series, “Mountain Monsters,” reunites the fearless team of hard-core trappers to confirm the sightings of these fabled monsters. Calling themselves the AIMS team – the Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings – this rip-roarin’ group of self-proclaimed “hillbilly hunters” treks through the depths of Appalachia’s mountain forests, searching for creatures of mythical origins, determined to track down proof these monsters still roam this region today. “The Return of Trapper” – Premieres Wednesday, November 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
The AIMS team meets with their team leader, Trapper, who makes them realize they have been missing a big clue. Then they head back to Ashe County, North Carolina, in search of the Cherokee Devil, which soon proves to be too much for Huckleberry.

The AIMS team sets off to track down one of the cloaked figures at the heart of the mystery of Spearfinger. Willy and Wild Bill sneak down for a recon mission, and the team realizes the key to their quest is in the rock overhang and the red shed.

AMERICAN MYSTERY
“American Mystery” explores the mysteries that have never been solved – providing a deeper look into the stories and theories that surround them. Each episode will dive into the history of three different mysteries through interviews, archival footage and re-creation, as well as the theories behind each story and new facts and findings. “The Haunting of Lambert Castle” – Premieres Thursday, November 14 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
The team resurrects Hans Holzer’s investigation of a mysterious castle in Paterson, New Jersey. Their exploration of the lavish mansion reveals a woman’s recurring nightmares may have a supernatural source in the dwelling’s dark history.

“The House at Deadman’s Curve” – Premieres Friday, November 15 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
Jason Hawes, Steve Gonsalves and Dave Tango head to Dover, Delaware, to help a local paranormal investigator with her childhood home. The investigation uncovers evidence that the haunting may be connected to a deadly stretch of road just yards from the property.

GHOST ADVENTURES
In each episode of “Ghost Adventures,” Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin, along with A/V techs Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley, travel to a different haunted destination where they meet with locals, eyewitnesses and experts in an attempt to piece together the haunted history of each site. They then begin their “lockdown” investigation, using the latest scientific gadgets and technology in an effort to obtain physical evidence of the paranormal and uncover the truth behind each haunted mystery. “Cerro Gordo Ghost Town” – Premieres Saturday, November 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Zak Bagans and the “Ghost Adventures” crew trek a treacherous cliffside trail to investigate a former mining town haunted by the lost souls of its former residents.

“Pasadena Ritual House” – Premieres Saturday, November 16 at 9 p.m. ET/PT
Zak Bagans and the “Ghost Adventures” team investigate the Pasadena, California, home of a self-proclaimed satanist. A seance conducted inside the historic Victorian house reveals an inhuman presence has attached itself to Aaron Goodwin and is trying to communicate with him.

DESTINATION FEAR
“Destination Fear” may be the most terrifying road trip ever attempted. Paranormal explorer and documentary filmmaker Dakota Laden – who has spent the last few years investigating the frightening unknown with the “Ghost Adventures” crew – is taking his sister, Chelsea Laden, and best friend, Tanner Wiseman, across the country in an RV to spend the night in the most haunted abandoned locations in America. Pursuing paranormal evidence, the team must first overcome fear itself. In each episode, the team travels to a different destination in the United States. The location remains a surprise to all but Dakota. Not knowing the haunted horrors that await them, it’s a road trip driven by suspense and fueled by excitement. The team explores each haunted location together, zoning in on areas of reported paranormal activity. But the luck of the draw determines where each one will sleep overnight – separated and alone. Armed with cameras and dread as their only companions, the team members will test the limits of their own fears in an effort to ultimately understand the paranormal. [Hour-long episodes]

“Sweet Springs Sanitarium” – Premieres Saturday, November 9 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
Sweet Springs Sanitarium in West Virginia may be one of the darkest and most terrifying locations the team has explored thus far. The site of a horrific massacre of a Native American tribe by one of George Washington’s colonels, the property has allegedly been cursed ever since. But before the team members even get to Sweet Springs, they have a haunting experience at an unusual pit stop: an abandoned amusement park in Lake Shawnee, West Virginia. The team members’ visit here is so unsettling, it sets them on edge. Almost instantly upon their arrival at Sweet Springs, they come face-to-face with some of the most unusual paranormal activity ever caught on tape, including unexplained screams, voices and terrifying chanting. With such a devastating emotional effect on the team, will they make it through the night?

“St. Albans Sanatorium” – Premieres Saturday, November 16 at 10 p.m. ET/PT
The team revisits a location they have been to before, a location so awful that Chelsea vowed she would never return. St. Albans Sanatorium in Radford, Virginia, is a looming monument and the site of a horrific colonist massacre, a brutal Lutheran boys school and a sanatorium that tortured its patients. Considered by many to be the most haunted place on the East Coast, it is said to be filled with hundreds of paranormal entities, including something so demonic that it allegedly possesses people. Chelsea is stunned by their return to St. Albans and fiercely objects, but Dakota refuses to let the team walk away from the location without overcoming it and seeking redemption. Can they finally conquer St. Albans? Or will St. Albans conquer them?

THE ALASKA TRIANGLE
Alaska is the most sparsely populated of all the states. In a vast expanse of rugged wilderness, one area – known as “The Alaska Triangle” – has been home to so much unusual activity that it has struck fear across Alaska and the world. More people disappear in this area than anywhere else in the United States, with countless sightings of strange creatures, impossible moving lights in the sky, unexplained phenomena and even malevolent ghosts. Are lay lines and electromagnetic anomalies within the Triangle causing these bizarre events? Or is something more sinister at play?
